78th District Court arraignments, sentencings.

HART – The following are recent court proceedings in 78th District Court:

Arraignments

Felonies

– William Earl Tarrant, 20, of 508 Griswold St., Hart, was arrested by the Hart Police Department for a felony of assault with a dangerous weapon. Preliminary exam: March 11 at 3 p.m. Bail: $1,000/personal recognizance. CASE DISMISSED Nov. 18.

– William Arthur Hill, 50, of 765 E. Giles Rd., N. Muskegon, was arrested by the Michigan State Police (MSP) for a felony of false pretenses $1,000-$20,000. In a separate case, Hill faces a felony charge of delivery/manufacture of methamphetamine/ecstasy stemming from an arrest by the State, Sheriffs’, Chiefs’ Enforcement of Narcotics Team (SSCENT). Preliminary exam: March 11 at 3 p.m. Bail: $25,000/10 percent. In a third case, he is charged with misdemeanors of larceny $200-$1,000 and squatting stemming from an arrest by the Oceana County Sheriff’s Office (OCSO). – Brenda Lee Leonard, 46, of 1873 Franklin St., Muskegon, was

arrested by MSP for felonies of third-offense operating while intoxicated (OWI) and assaulting/resisting/obstructing police and a misdemeanor of assault and battery. Preliminary exam: March 4 at 3 p.m. Bail: $10,000/cash/surety.

– Michael Eugene Jacobs, 31, of 7290 Progress Rd., Twin Lake, was arrested by HPD for a felony of third-offense OWI. Preliminary exam: March 11 at 3

-Amanda Marie Zoulek, 31, of 5923 W. Stony Lake Rd., New Era; OCSO; third-degree retail fraud. Pretrial: March 21 at 1:15 p.m. Bail: $2,500/cash/surety/10 percent.

– Eric Steven Helkamp, 49, of 530 Main St., Hart; HPD; domestic violence. Pretrial: March 21 at 2:30 p.m. Bail: $2,500/cash/surety/10 percent.

– Eric Robert Mitschelen, 2518 15th St., Hopkins; MSP; marijuana possession. Pretrial: March 28 at 1:30 p.m. Bail: $1,000/personal recognizance.

– Stephanie Lynn Joynes, 36, of 403 Fairfield Ave., NW, Grand Rapids; MSP; operating without insurance. Pretrial: March 7 at 10:30 a.m. Bail: $1,000/personal recognizance.

– Justin Jon Mikkelson, 35, of 6476 W. Pike Rd., New Era; DNR; operating an unregistered snowmobile. Pretrial: Feb. 28 at 1 p.m. Bail: $1,000/personal recognizance.

– Michael Douglas Paeplow, 32, of 1627 McDonald St., NW, Grand Rapids; DNR; operating an unregistered snowmobile. Pretrial: Feb. 28 at 10:45 a.m. Bail: $1,000/personal recognizance.

– Edwin Armando Moreno-Delgadillo, 19, of 5737 S. Leelanau Circle, New Era; Shelby Police Department; driving while license not valid. Pretrial: March 21 at 2 p.m. Bail: $1,000/personal recognizance.

– Richard Smith Acosta, 53, of 1452 W. Monroe Rd., Hart; HPD; driving while license not valid. Pretrial: Feb. 28 at 9:45 a.m. Bail: $1,000/personal recognizance.

Sentencings

– Mikayla Nichol Wilson-Gleason, 24, of 648 N. 136th Ave., Hart, was found guilty Feb. 19 of disturbing the peace and was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail for one year and $400 in fines and costs. One count of domestic violence was dismissed.

– Sheri Lynn Boes, 50, of 8045 16 Mile Rd., Bitley, was found guilty Feb. 15 of operating an unregistered snowmobile and was sentenced to $210 in fines and costs.

Dismissal

– Tami Lynn Leemon, 49, of 217 E. Lincoln St., Hart, one count of allowing a person to drive in violation was dismissed, Feb. 14.
