Drunk driving arrest tops MSP activity.

BENONA TOWNSHIP – An 86-year-old Shelby man was arrested by Michigan State Police troopers from the Hart post for operating while intoxicated Wednesday, Feb. 6, at 7:05 p.m. at Wren Road and 64th Avenue.
Other recent MSP activity in Oceana County includes:
Monday, Feb. 4, 2019:
– 7:40 p.m., car/deer crash, Jefferson Road near 126th Avenue, Crystal Township.
Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2019:
– 11:55 a.m., a 45-year-old Muskegon man was arrested on a fugitive warrant and for driving while license suspended, Oceana Drive near Cleveland Road, Grant Township.
– 4:50 p.m., retail fraud, Dollar General store, Village of Rothbury. The case is under investigation.
Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2019:
– 2 p.m., a 30-year-old Mears man was arrested on a fugitive warrant, 5000 block of Fox Road, Golden Township.
