78th District Court sentencings.

HART – The following were sentenced recently in 78th District Court:

– Devon Izac-Mathew Smith, 22, of 3627 McKinley Rd., Montague, was found guilty Dec. 10 of operating while impaired and was sentenced to nine days in jail; six months probation; 93 days discretionary jail for one year; must submit to testing, searches and counseling; no alcohol/drugs; and $1,105 in fines, costs and restitution. Charges of violating a restricted driver’s license and operating while intoxicated were dismissed.

– Robert Patrick Deangelis, 39, of 27711 Mill Creek St., Brownstown, Michigan, was found guilty Jan. 4 of driving while license suspended (DWLS) – ORV and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail for one year and $400 in fines and costs. The case will be dismissed in 90 days if there are no further incidents.

– Jacob Paul Erickson, 39, of 5681 W. Fox Rd., Mears, was found guilty Jan. 7 of operating while intoxicated and was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail for one year; driver’s license suspended 180 days/restricted after 30 days; and $1,305 in fines and costs.

– Ray Curtis Hamilton, 35, of 1757 Smith St., Muskegon, was found guilty Jan. 8 of operating while intoxicated and was sentenced to outpatient treatment; 93 days discretionary jail for one year; and $1,180 in fines, costs and restitution. One count of operating with a high blood alcohol content (BAC) was dismissed.

– Roberto Diaz, 26, of 619 N. 88th Ave., Hart, was found guilty Jan. 7 of operating while intoxicated and was sentenced to outpatient treatment; 93 days discretionary jail for one year; $1,190 in fines, costs and restitution. Charges of DWLS and transporting open intoxicants were dismissed.

– Daniel Edwin Flermoen, 59, of 1061 Coldbrook NE, Grand Rapids, was found guilty Jan. 7 of operating while impaired and was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail for one year; substance abuse evaluation; and $500 in fines, costs and restitution. Charges of operating intoxicated, second-offense DWLS, operating without insurance and marijuana possession were dismissed.

– Jose Alfredo Villarreal, 45, of 694 E. Thistle Rd., Hart, was found guilty Jan. 7 of operating while impaired and was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail for one year and $415 in fines, costs and restitution. Charges of operating while intoxicated and DWLS were dismissed.

– Donna Leanne Marsala, 31, of 5515 Deer Rd., Walkerville, was found guilty Jan. 8 of harboring misdemeanants and was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail for one year and $425 in fines and costs.

– Keith Perry Langdon, 36, of 2322 Twin Lake Rd., Twin Lake, was found guilty of operating without insurance and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail for one year and $200 in fines and costs. One count of operating without a license was dismissed.
