CSC, stolen handgun top police activity.

The following is recent police activity in Oceana County:

Saturday, Dec. 29, 2018:

– 9:28 a.m., (Oceana County Sheriff’s Office), criminal sexual conduct (CSC), City of Hart. The case is under investigation.

– 8:18 p.m., (OCSO), a .22-caliber handgun was reported stolen, 4500 block of Elm Street, Village of New Era. An 18-year-old Shelby man was found in possession of the gun and is cooperating with police, said Oceana County Sheriff Craig Mast. No arrests have been made.

– 9:10 p.m., (Michigan State Police), breaking and entering, 1000 block of 192nd Avenue, Newfield Township.

Sunday, Dec. 30, 2018:

– 2:15 p.m., (OCSO), a 35-year-old Ludington man was arrested on an outstanding warrant, 192nd Avenue, Colfax Township.

Monday, Dec. 31, 2018:

– 12:52 p.m., (OCSO), domestic violence, 8500 block of South Robinhood Drive, Grant Township.

– 8:12 p.m., (OCSO), a 30-year-old Mears man was arrested for driving while license suspended, West Monroe Road, Weare Township.

Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2019:

– 8 p.m., (OCSO), a 35-year-old Hesperia woman was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear at the Muskegon County Jail and transported to the Oceana County Jail.

Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2019:

– 6:07 a.m., (OCSO), a 30-year-old Walkerville woman suffered a minor injury following a one-vehicle crash, North 180th Avenue, Leavitt Township.

– 7:57 a.m., (OCSO), vehicle slide-off, no injuries, East Warren Road, Ferry Township.
