Drunk driving arrests top police activity.

The following is recent police activity in Oceana County:

Monday, Nov. 5, 2018:

– 2:10 p.m., (Michigan State Police), car/deer crash, Polk Road and 112th Avenue, Hart Township.

– 5:49 p.m., (MSP), assault, 200 block of Forrest Street, Village of Rothbury.

– 6:30 p.m., (MSP), a 59-year-old Grand Rapids man was arrested for operating while intoxicated (OWI), US 31 and Park Road, Grant Township.

– 6:41 p.m., (Oceana County Sheriff’s Office), assault, East Lathrop Street, Village of Walkerville.

Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2018:

– 12:49 a.m., (OCSO), a 26-year-old Hart man arrested for OWI, driving while license suspended (DWLS) and open intoxicants following a crash, Filmore Road, Hart Township.

– 8:20 p.m., (MSP), car/deer crash, US 31 and Hayes Road, Shelby Township.

– 10:51 p.m., (OCSO), aggravated assault and malicious destruction of property, East Thistle Road, Crystal Township. A 40-year-old Hart woman and 44-year-old Hart man are suspects in the case, which is being turned over to the Oceana County Prosecutor’s Office for review. The man was arrested for OWI and DWLS at the same location.
