Police respond to drug overdose.

WEARE TOWNSHIP – The Oceana County Sheriff’s Office responded to a drug overdose Thursday, Oct. 18, shortly before 3 p.m. on North 88th Avenue.

A male subject overdosed on prescription drugs and survived, said Oceana County Sheriff Craig Mast. No other information was immediately available.

In a separate incident, a 31-year-old Hart woman was arrested by deputies Thursday at 2:10 a.m. on North 72nd Avenue in Hart Township for meth and heroin possession and on an outstanding warrant. She was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.
