Festival drug arrests top 78th District Court arraignments.

HART – The following were arraigned recently in 78th District Court:

Felonies

Farrell

– Cameron Dennis Farrell, 27, of 3863 89th Way, Wesminster, Colorado, was arrested by the State, Sheriffs’ Chiefs’ Enforcement of Narcotics Team (SSCENT) for felony charges of delivery/manufacture of ecstasy, delivery/manufacture of ketamine and delivery/manufacture of LSD. Preliminary conference: Oct. 22 at 3 p.m. Bail: $5,000/cash/surety/10 percent.

– Gary DeAngelo Parker, 20, of 913 Pasture Rose St., Joliet, Illinois, was arrested by SSCENT for felony charges of delivery/manufacture

of cocaine less than 50 grams and delivery/manufacture of LSD. Case bound over to 27th Circuit Court. Bail: $5,000/personal recognizance.

– Gwendolyn Cahuasqui, 29, of 3378 Bacgelor St., Atlanta, Georgia, was

arrested by SSCENT for felony charges of delivery/manufacture of ecstasy and delivery/manufacture of cocaine less than 50 grams. Preliminary conference: Oct. 22 at 3 p.m. Bail: $5,000/cash/surety/10 percent.

***The above three cases are related to arrests made at the Electric Forest Festival in Rothbury last June. The delay in arraignments arises from getting substances tested at the Michigan State Police crime lab in Grant Rapids, which is backlogged with a heavy caseload.

“The reason for the delay is the process of testing,” said Oceana County Prosecutor Joseph Bizon. “These cases have been presented in what would be considered a reasonably efficient time frame, consistent with what we would expect from the lab.”***

– Shelli Ann Pfenning, 40, of 7747. E. Scout Rd., Hesperia; Oceana County Sheriff’s Office (OCSO); operating while intoxicated (OWI). Pretrial: Oct. 23 at 3 p.m. Bail: $3,500/cash/surety/10 percent.

– Nicholas Edwin Bytwerk, 20, of 2101 Moulton Ave., North Muskegon; Shelby Police Department (SPD); marijuana possession. Pretrial: Nov. 1 at 11 a.m. Bail: $2,500/personal recognizance.

– Joshua David Gill, 26, of 4217 S. Hubbard, Wayne, Michigan; SPD; marijuana possession. Pretrial: Dec. 4 at 1 p.m. Bail: $2,500/personal recognizance.

– Dee Ray Freeman, 53, of 5707 S. Cherokee Bend, New Era; OCSO; operating without insurance and unlawful license plate. Pretrial: Nov. 1 at 3:30 p.m. Bail: $2,500/cash/surety/10 percent.

– Cristal Gomez, 21, of 6464 N. 168th Ave., Walkerville; Hart Police Department (HPD); operating without insurance and no license. Pretrial: Nov. 1 at 3:45 p.m. Bail: $1,000/cash/surety/10 percent.

– Eliza Vasquez, 49, of 2527 N. 72nd Ave., Hart; HPD; driving while license not valid and failure to report an accident with a fire hydrant. Pretrial: Nov. 1 at 10 a.m. Bail: $5,000/cash/surety/10 percent.

– Sara Jessica Thomas, 27, of 8030 W. Lumberjack Dr., Mears; OCSO; larceny less than $200. Pretrial: Oct. 23 at 2:30 p.m. Bail: $2,500/personal recognizance.

– Rosa Amelia Rodriguez, 26, of 3990 W. Baker Rd., Shelby; OCSO; OWI. Pretrial: Nov. 1 at 4:15 p.m. Bail: $3,500/cash/surety/10 percent.

– Adam Eugene Barnes, 21, of 4965 Bowen St., Montague; Michigan State Police (MSP); marijuana possession. Pretrial: Nov. 1 at 3:15 p.m. Bail: $2,500/personal.

– Virgil Coronado III, 22, of Filmore/88th, Hart; HPD: driving while license not valid and no insurance. Pretrial: Nov. 1 at 9:30 a.m. Bail: $2,500/personal recognizance.

– Kailey Lynn McCloud, 20, of 115 E. Pine St., Fremont; OCSO; assault and battery. Pretrial: Nov. 1 at 4 p.m. Bail: $2,500/cash/surety/10 percent.

– Lesley Lee Hadix, 42, of 11691 Blue Lake Rd., Holton; OCSO; improper plates. Pretrial: Nov. 1 at 10:15 a.m. Bail: $1,500/personal recognizance.
