HART – The following were sentenced recently in 78th District Court:

– Diane Kay Wiggers, 54, of 3259 N. 166th Ave., Walkerville, was found guilty Oct. 1 of second-offense operating while intoxicated and was sentenced to nine days in jail; six months probation; outpatient treatment; not to purchase/possess a firearm; must submit to testing, searches and counseling as directed by probation; and $1,495 in fines, costs and restitution. Conviction reportable to the Secretary of State (SOS). One count of operating with a high blood alcohol content (BAC) was dismissed.

– Steven Thomas Nowak, 30, of 2395 E. Oakwood Dr., White Cloud, was found guilty Oct. 1 of third-degree retail fraud and was sentenced to $419 in fines, costs and restitution.

– Fabian Herrera, 20, of 2062 N. Water Rd., Hart, was found guilty Oct. 1 of person under 21 with a BAC of .02-.07 and was sentenced to $950 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.

– Brett Michael Bonstell, 20, of 5696 N. 136th Ave., Hart, was found guilty Oct. 1 of operating while impaired and was sentenced to one day in jail with credit for one day served and $1,115 in fines, costs and restitution. Conviction reportable to SOS. One count of operating while intoxicated was dismissed.

– Joseph Alan Whelpley, 26, of 8118 W. 13 Mile Rd., Bitely, was found guilty Sept. 27 of allowing a person to drive in violation and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail for one year and $290 in fines and costs. One count of second-offense driving while license suspended (DWLS) was dismissed.

– Alfred Jay Trevino, 33, of 3261 W. Winston Rd., Rothbury, pleaded “no contest” Sept. 25 to disturbing the peace and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail and $100 in fines and costs.

– Eric Michael Johnson, 59, of 2659 Clark Rd., Lapeer, was found guilty Sept. 27 of ORV – open intoxicants and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail for one year and $300 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS. One count of operating without a license on person dismissed.

– James Leigh Ferrier, Jr., 25, of 116 E. 2nd St., Scottville, was found guilty Sept, 27 of littering and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail for one year and $225 in fines and costs.

– Larsen Hani Jirjees, 25, of 3518 Du Pon Dr., Sterling Heights, was found guilty Sept. 27 of transporting open intoxicants and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail for one year and $300 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.

– Cameron Johnson McCulley, 28, of 1990 E. Monroe Rd., Hart, was found guilty Sept. 27 of failure to report an accident and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail for one year and $325 in fines and costs.

– Roger Allen Minzey, 47, of 4163 S. 198th Ave., Hesperia, was found guilty Sept. 27 of disturbing the peace and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail for one year and $325 in fines and costs.

– Eric Allen Minzey, 32, of 4121 Riverview Dr., Hesperia, was found guilty Sept. 27 of disturbing the peace and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail and $325 in fines and costs.

– Summer Jazmine Mitteer, 20, of 6 Chapita Hills, Shelby, was found guilty Sept. 26 of unlawful license plates and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail and $215 in fines and costs.

– Tony David Koss, 47, of 305 E. Haight St., Ludington, was found guilty Sept. 26 of DWLS and was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail for one year and $400 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.

– Ralph Simon Salazar, 29, of 1607 Elwood St., Muskegon, was found guilty of operating without a license and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail for one year and $300 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.

– Adam Scott Schilz-Kissling, 27, of 206 Pine St., Shelby, was found guilty Sept, 26 of unlawful license plates and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail for one year and $215 in fines and costs.

– Kameron Paige Wilson, 22, of 1216 Mapleview St., SE, Grand Rapids, was found guilty Sept. 26 of DWLS and was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail and $400 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.

Dismissal

– Joaquin Oliveros-Velazquez, 26, of 409 E. Jefferson St., Hart, one count of operating while intoxicated was dismissed Sept. 25 after a trial by judge.
