78th District Court sentencings, posted July 12, 2018.

HART — The following were sentenced recently in 78th District Court:
– Lazaro Ramos Fernandez, 27, of 1560 SW 5th Ave., Miami, Florida, was found guilty July 9 of receiving and concealing stolen property $200-$1,000 and was sentenced to five days in jail with credit for five days served; one year discretionary jail; and $450 in fines and costs. Two counts of receiving and stolen property over $1,000 were dismissed.
– Shawn Steven Dayharsh, 43, of 193 First., Shelby, was found guilty July 9 of disorderly person – drunk and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail and $400 in fines and costs.
– Junior Shattuck, 29, of 21146 Tamarack Rd., Howard City, Michigan, was found guilty July 9 of operating while intoxicated and was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail; outpatient treatment; and $1,155 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to the Secretary of State (SOS).
– Theodore Alan Smith, 44, of 2132 N. 56th Ave., Mears, was found guilty July 9 of third-degree retail fraud and was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail; $24 restitution; and $400 in fines and costs.
– Christopher Lee Brookshire, 31, of 439 E. Nelson St., Cadillac, was found guilty July 3 of allowing a person to drive in violation and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail and $290 in fines and costs.
– Luis Arturo Soto Cervantes, 21, of 5864 N. 88th Ave., Hart, was found guilty July 3 of allowing a person to drive in violation and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail and $290 in fines and costs.
– Amy Louise Stanley, 48, of 9077 W. 13 Mile Rd., Walkerville, was found guilty July 3 of allowing a person to drive in violation and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail and $290 in fines and costs. Charges of unlawful license plate use and operating without security were dismissed.
