HART — The following were sentenced recently in 78th District Court:

– Lloyd Guy Holland, 65, of 7656 E. Washington Rd., Branch, was found guilty June 25 of operating while impaired and was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail and $1,055 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to the Secretary of State (SOS). One count of operating while intoxicated was dismissed.

– Cody Lee Bow, 24, of 8160 W. 2 Mile Rd., White Cloud, was found guilty July 2 of third-degree retail fraud and and was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail; a $75 fine; and $28 in restitution. One count of assault and battery was dismissed.

– Kailey Lynn McCloud, 20, of 115 E. Pine St., Fremont, was found guilty July 2 of third-offense minor in possession of alcohol (MIP) and sentenced to outpatient treatment and $400 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.

– Nicholas Richard Hartman, 34, of 5847 Autumn Trail, Brownsburg, Indiana, was found guilty July 2 of disorderly person – drunk and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail and $400 in fines and costs. One count of operating while intoxicated was dismissed.

– Joseph Owen Pulsipher, 51, of 9430 Filmore Rd., Hesperia, was found guilty of marijuana possession and was sentenced to one year discretionary jail; outpatient treatment; driver’s license suspended one year/restricted after 60 days; and $450 in fines and costs. One count of operating without insurance was dismissed.

– Michael Scott Fessenden, 37, of 15 S. Griswold St., Hart, was found guilty July 2 of operating while impaired and was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail; outpatient treatment; and $1,055 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS. One count of operating while intoxicated was dismissed.

– Jason Lee Spears, 24, of 3562 Algonquin Dr., Muskegon, pleaded “no contest” July 2 to malicious destruction of property less then $200 and was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail; $50 in restitution; and a $75 fine.

– Morgan James Pearson, 21, of 154 S. East St., Walkerville, was found guilty July 2 of driving while license suspended (DWLS) and was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail and $250 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS. Pearson was also found guilty July 2 of allowing a person to drive in violation and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail and $250 in fines and costs. One count of second-offense DWLS was dismissed.

– Ricardo Moreno Barrios, 28, of 180 W. Main St., Hart, was found guilty of driving while license not valid and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail and $300 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.

– Zane Raymond Russell, 49, of 1413 Holton Whitehall Rd., Twin Lake, was found guilty June 27 of DWLS and was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail and $400 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.

– April Rae Wolfe, 37, of 5689 W. Fox Rd., Mears, was found guilty June 27 of DWLS and was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail and $400 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.

Dismissal

– Hunter Perry Buchanan, 21, of 950 Bowline Rd., Muskegon, one count of selling/furnishing alcohol to a minor was dismissed after a jury found him not guilty, June 26.
