Pentwater Fire Dept. to host open house honoring Chief Cluchey.

PENTWATER — The Pentwater Fire Department will host an open house celebrating the career of former Fire Chief Terry Cluchey, on Saturday, July 7 from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the fire station.

Cluchey has been a member of Pentwater Fire Department since 1985 and was fire Fire Chief for 18 years. He did not seek re-election this year and remains an active member of the department as a firefighter and medical first responder.

The open house will allow the public to say hello to Cluchey and view the station, equipment and apparatus, as well as meet the other members of the department including new Fire Chief Paul Smith. The event is open to the general public and will include free hotdogs, chips and pop.
