Emergency crews respond to overturned boat.

PENTWATER — A sunfish-style sailboard overturned in Lake Michigan a few hundred yards off shore, south of the Pentwater pier today. Pentwater Police Chief Laude Hartrum said the female operator of the small boat was not injured and managed to get ashore. Responding to the scene, at Oceana Beach Association, were Pentwater Police Department, Oceana EMS, and Pentwater Fire Department.
