HART — The following were sentenced recently in 78th District Court:

– Ronald Lee Robertson, Jr., 35, of 282 Pine St., Shelby, was found guilty May 16 of driving an unregistered vehicle/no trailer plate and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail and $218 in fines and costs. One count of no proof of insurance was dismissed.

– Melody Ann Jagniecki, 57, of 3173 Meyers Ave., New Era, was found guilty May 15 of allowing a person to drive in violation and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail and $290 in fines and costs. One count of driving while license suspended (DWLS) was dismissed.

– Ryan Matthew Dow, 34, of 9023 E. Wilke Rd., Fremont, was found guilty May 15 of DWLS and was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail and $400 in fines and costs. One count of second-offense DWLS was dismissed. Conviction reportable to the Secretary of State (SOS).

– Israel Barrios, 20, of 180 W. Main St., Hart, was found guilty May 15 of driving while license not valid and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail and $300 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.

– Maria Isabel Olivas, 40, of 403 S. Hart St., Hart, was found guilty May 16 of failure to license a dog and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail and $155 in fines and costs.

– Joseph Wayne Hawkins, 34, of 7942 W. Hazel Rd., Mears, was found guilty May 16 of dog running at large and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail and $155 in fines and costs.

– Tomas Motalvo, Jr., 58, of 801 Wallace Ave., Kalamazoo, was found guilty May 21 of larceny less than $200 and was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail; $20 restitution to New Era Wesco; $19 restitution to Shelby Wesco; and a $75 fine.

– John Joseph Norman, Jr., 21, of 5665 S. 142nd Ave., Rothbury, was found guilty May 21 of DWLS and was sentenced to one year discretionary jail and $450 in fines and costs. One count of second-offense DWLS was dismissed. Conviction reportable to SOS.

– Destindausi Marie Nowlin, 19, of 1532 E. Garfield Rd., Hesperia, was found guilty May 21 of operating while impaired and was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail; outpatient treatment; and $1,055 in fines and costs. One count of operating while intoxicated was dismissed. Conviction reportable to SOS.

– Mitchell William Darling, 22, of 6192 W. Baker Rd., Shelby, was found guilty May 21 of operating while intoxicated and was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail; Alcohol Highway Safety Education (AHSE); and $1,155 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.

– Renee Michelle Golnick, 35, of 5360 N. 88th Ave., Hart, pleaded no contest May 21 to operating without insurance and was sentenced to one year discretionary jail and $400 in fines and costs. One count of second-offense DWLS was dismissed.

– Raymond Dudley Scharf, 49, of 1870 E. Zimmer Rd., Shelby, was found guilty May 21 of disturbing the peace and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail; no contact with the victim for 90 days; and $225 in fines and costs. One count of domestic violence was dismissed.

– Amber Lynn Hawkins, 31, of 8007 W. Taylor Rd., Mears, was found guilty May 7 of larceny $200-$1,000 and was sentenced to one year discretionary jail; $1,000 restitution; and $250 in fines and costs. “Court only ordered half the restitution for now. If co-defendant is arrested, he would have to pay the other half. If not, restitution is joint and several, so the other half would need to be added back on to this case,” court records state.

– Josh Joseph Tatro, 22, of 5333 S. 148th Ave., Hesperia, was found guilty May 21 of disorderly person – jostling and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail and $450 in fines and costs. One count of domestic violence was dismissed.

– Colt J. Crittenden, 23, of 8023 W. Seapine, Mears, was found guilty May 21 of operating while impaired and was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail and $415 in fines and costs. One count of operating while intoxicated was dismissed. Conviction reportable to SOS.

– Elizabeth Kaye Lewis, 56, of 14255 Troy St., Taylor, Michigan, was found guilty May 21 of operating while impaired and was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail and $465 in fines and costs. Charges of second-offense DWLS and operating while intoxicated were dismissed. Conviction reportable to SOS.

– Robert Lee Johnson, 48, of 1300 W. Woodrow Rd., Shelby, was found guilty May 21 of disorderly person – jostling and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail and $400 in fines and costs. Charges of DWLS and domestic violence were dismissed.

– Daniel Thomas Hamilton, 18, of 13484 N. Woodbridge Ave., Bitely, was found guilty May 9 of driving while license not valid and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail and $300 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.

– Cassie Iras Ramirez, 39, of 365 Dewey St., Shelby, was found guilty May 9 of dog running at large and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail and $155 in fines and costs.

– Esperanz Rocha, 33, of 5766 S. Okemos Rd., New Era, was found guilty May 8 of DWLS and was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail and $400 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.

– Joshua Paul Evelhoch, 27, of 7720 W. I Mile Rd., Hesperia, was found guilty May 10 of DWLS and was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail and $400 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.

– Holly Marie Revilla, 34, of 3610 W. Karen St., Hart, was found guilty May 8 of allowing a person to drive in violation and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail and $290 in fines and costs. Charges of operating without insurance and expired registration were dismissed.

– William Joseph Wesley, 56, of 4340 S. Quarterline Rd., Muskegon, was found guilty May 9 of failure to remove tree stand and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail and $235 in fines and costs.

– Antonio Rosas-Villegas, 48, of 3162 W. Monroe Rd., Hart, was found guilty May 14 of operating with a high blood alcohol content (BAC) and was sentenced to 180 days discretionary jail; six months probation; outpatient treatment; and $990 in fines and costs. One count of operating while intoxicated and one count of open intoxicants were dismissed. Conviction reportable to SOS.

– Kevin Jack Stanfield, 35, of 380 N. Bogue St., Walkerville, was found guilty April 24 of operating while intoxicated and was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail; AHSE; and $1,155 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.

– Manuel Bernie Santos, Jr., 54, of 1030 S. State St., Hart, was found guilty May 14 of DWLS and was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail and $400 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.

– Brian Keith Gramza, 45, of 411 N. Main St., Scottville, was found guilty May 14 of disturbing the peace and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail and $400 in fines and costs. One count of marijuana possession was dismissed.

– Spencer Jay Cullen, 26, of 4568 Beattie Rd., Muskegon, was found guilty May 14 of marijuana use and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail; driver’s license suspended one year/restricted after 60 days; and $400 in fines and costs. One count of marijuana possession was dismissed.

– James Keith Payne, 33, of 128 Michigan Ave., Shelby, was found guilty May 14 of third-degree retail fraud and was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail and $410 in fines, costs and restitution.

– Christopher James Wilbur, 29, of 31 N. Cook St., Hesperia, was found guilty May 8 of allowing a person to drive in violation and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail and $290 in fines and costs. One count of operating without insurance was dismissed.

– Stephen Michael Ryder, 27, of 3628 Lee Lane, Hart, was found guilty May of 14 of marijuana possession and disturbing the peace was sentenced to 21 days in jail with credit for 21 days served; one year discretionary jail for the first count and 90 days discretionary jail for the second count; driver’s license suspended one year/restricted after 60 days; and $150 in fines and costs. One count of prisoner possession contraband was dismissed.

– George Rorup Petersen, IV, 20, of 311 E. Jefferson, Hart, was found guilty May 9 of fishing without a license and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail and $155 in fines and costs.

– Pedro Perez-Vixtha, 40, of 800 S. Dryden St., Hart, was found guilty May 11 of failure to display a valid license and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail and $215 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.

– Jonathan Henry Hoffman, 33, of 7363 W. Fox Rd., Mears, was found guilty May 9 of driving while license expired and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail and $225 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.

Dismissals

– Andrew Scott Roskamp, 27, of 10665 Pennisula Dr., Stanwood, one count of second-offense DWLS was dismissed May 21. “It is not in the interest of justice to go forward with this matter,” court records state.

– Joseph Owen Pulsipher, 51, of 9430 E. Filmore Rd., Hesperia, one count of domestic violence was dismissed May 8. “The victim is unwilling to cooperate with the prosecution of the defendant,” court records state. “The victim provided proof that she and the defendant intend to participate in couples therapy in the near future.”

– Ted Lee Taylor, 60, of 710 E. Main St., Hart, one count of operating while intoxicated was dismissed May 9. “Lab reports came back at .06 grams of alcohol per 100 milliliter a of blood,” court records state.
