Police seek public’s help with break-in investigation.


WALKERVILLE — A breaking and entering of a shed located in 200 block of West North Street reported Sunday afternoon, Oct. 8, resulted in the theft of construction equipment.

Oceana County Sheriff Craig Mast is asking citizens who have any information about the break-in to call the sheriff’s office at 231-873-2121.

Stolen items include: a tool box valued at $1,000; a 4-inch palm sander; a 4-inch belt sander; a Ryobi-brand generator; an air compressor; a battery charger; a cement mixer; and a 15-foot chain.
