HART — The following were arraigned in 78th District Court:

Felonies

Hoeker

– Roger Erick Hoeker, 62, of 1112 Maplewood Drive, Jenison, was arrested Aug. 8 by the Michigan State Police (MSP) for a felony of homicide – involuntary manslaughter. Preliminary exam: Aug. 22 at 3 p.m. Bail: $5,000/10 percent. See related story

– Jose Alfredo Villarreal, 43, of 694 E. Thistle Rd., Hart, was arrested by MSP Aug. 7 for a felony of fourth-degree fleeing a police officer; a felony of assaulting/resisting/obstructing a police officer; and a misdemeanor

In a separate court file, Villareal was arrested Aug. 1 by the Oceana County Sheriff’s Office (OCSO) for misdemeanors of operating without security and second-offense driving while license suspended (DWLS). – Ricardo Serna, 23, of 3763 S. Oceana Dr., New Era, was arrested by MSP Aug. 10 or a felony of carrying a concealed weapon. Preliminary conference: Aug. 21 at 3 p.m. Bail: $2,500/cash/surety/10 percent.
