North winds will build waves on Lake Michigan today to 3 to 5 feet. Dangerous currents are expected especially on the north side of north piers like Stearns Park in Ludington, Mears State Park in Pentwater and North Beach in South Haven. Waves will subside tonight. Skies will generally be partly cloudy today with isolated light rain showers (only a 20% chance). Highs will top out in the mid 70s at most locations.
