HART — The following were arraigned recently in 78th District Court:

Felony

– Chad Mitchell Riggs, 42, of 6749 W. Taylor Rd., Hart, was arrested Aug. 2 by the Oceana County Sheriff’s Office (OCSO) for a felony of assault by strangulation and fourth-offense habitual offender. Preliminary conference: Aug. 14 at 3 p.m. Bail: $15,000/cash/surety.

– Brandon Michael Briggs, 28, of 1035 Center St., Muskegon; Aug. 3; OCSO; marijuana possession. Pretrial: Aug. 22 at 4:45 p.m. Bail: $2,500/cash/surety/10 percent.
