27th Circuit Court sentencings include 3 prison terms.

HART — The following were sentenced recently in 27th Circuit Court:

Lopez

– Tony Jerome Lopez, 43, of 314 Hart St., Hart, was found guilty of probation violation and was sentenced July 17 to 23 months to five years in prison, with credit for 365 days served in jail;$400 in fines and costs; and no contact with the victim. Lopez’s probation stems from a September 12, 2016 conviction of assault causing great bodily harm less than murder.

– Nicholas James Gale, 26, of 121 S. Winter St., Hesperia, was found guilty May 22 of breaking and entering with intent and was sentenced July 17 to 30 months to 10 years in prison, with credit for two days served; $837.77 in restitution that is joint and several with the co-defendant; and $158 in fines and costs.

– Steven Anthony Ketchum, 38, of 10687 Blue Lake Rd., Holton, was

found guilty May 30 of operating/maintaining a lab involving methamphetamine and was sentenced July 17 to 30 months to 20 years in prison, with credit for 141 days served in jail, and $198 in fines and costs.

– Calvin Michael Chase, 20, of 235 N. Division, Hesperia, was found guilty May 30 of tampering with an electronic monitoring device and was sentenced July 17 to one

year in jail, with credit for 61 days served, and $198 in fines and costs.

Alan Kent Wilson, 53, of 3340 Halls Lane, Ludington, was found guilty May 22 of third-offense operating under the influence of liquor (OUIL) and was sentenced July 17 to 11 months in jail, with credit for 91 days served; two year probation; $898 in fines and costs; and driver’s license suspended 30 days/restricted 150 days. One count of marijuana possession and one count of open intoxicants were dismissed.

Stone

– King Quin Stone, 51, of 5808 W. 6th St., Mears, was found guilty May 22 of failure to register as a sex offender and was sentenced July 17 to serve 10 months up front of a one-year discretionary jail term, with credit for 92 days served, and $198 in fines and costs.

– Frederick George Groat, 75, of 7094 116th Ave., Rothbury, was found guilty May 22 of failure to register as a sex offender and was sentenced July

17 to serve three days up front of a six-month discretionary jail term, with credit for three days served; one year probation; and $198 in fines and costs.

– Isaiah Daniel Aspey, 20, of 2308 128th Ave., Hart, was found guilty June 5 of operating with the presence of a controlled substance and was sentenced July 17 to 93 days discretionary jail with credit for two days served; must successfully complete an outpatient substance abuse disorder

program; driver’s license suspended 30 days/restricted 150 days; and $1,000 in fines and costs. One count of carrying a concealed weapon was dismissed.
