ROTHBURY — Three people were transported to a Muskegon hospital following a two-vehicle crash Sunday, April 23, shortly before noon at the intersection of Michigan Avenue and Winston Road.

A woman driving a Ford Freestar minivan westbound on Winston Road pulled out in front of a Toyoto Echo driven by a man traveling north on Oceana Drive, causing the minivan to get T-boned by the Toyota. The man driving the Echo and his two passengers were transported by Oceana County EMS, according to Oceana County Sheriff’s Deputy Jeff Brown. Initial dispatch information indicated that minor injuries occurred.

The woman driving the minivan was cited for failure to yield, Brown said.

Airbags deployed in both vehicles, and it is believed all those involved were wearing their seat belts, the deputy said.

Grant Township Rescue and Grant Township Fire Department assisted at the scene.
