HART — The following were sentenced recently in 78th District Court:

– Calvin Michael Chase, 19, of 235 N. Division St., Walkerville, pleaded “no contest” April 10 to breaking and entering – illegal entry and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with sentence; credit for time served if imposed; and $440 in fines and costs.

– Armando Gregorio Gutierrez, 27, of 3219W. Garfield Rd., New Era, was found guilty of second-offense driving while license suspended (DWLS) and was sentenced to one year discretionary jail to ensure compliance with sentence; credit for time served if imposed; and $400 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to the Secretary of State (SOS).

– Danielle Velez, 46, of 8 N. Courtland St., Hart, was found guilty April 10 of operating a motor vehicle without security/no insurance and was sentenced to one year discretionary jail to ensure compliance with sentence; credit for time served if imposed; and $400 in fines and costs.

– Kristin Lynn McCumber, 26, of 906 E. Ludington Ave., Ludington, was found guilty April 10 of no insurance and was sentenced to one year discretionary jail to ensure compliance with sentence; credit for time served if imposed; and $100 in fines and costs. One count of unlawful use of a license plate was dismissed.

– Christopher Richard Gale, 47, of 3690 W. VanBuren Rd., Hart, was found guilty April 10 of operating while intoxicated and was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with sentence; credit for time served if imposed; outpatient treatment; and $1,190 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS. One count of operating with a high blood alcohol content (BAC) was dismissed.

– Cris Elda Chapa, 29, of 800 S. Dryden St., Hart, was found guilty April 10 of no insurance and was sentenced to one year discretionary jail to ensure compliance with sentence; credit for time served if imposed; and $100 in fines and costs.

– Esteven Escamilla, 20, of 6676 N. 126th Ave., Hart was found guilty April 3 of operating while impaired and was sentenced to two days in jail with credit for two days served; 93 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with sentence; credit for time served if imposed; Alcohol Highway Safety Education (AHSE); $1,040 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS. One count of operating while intoxicated and one count of second-offense DWLS were dismissed.

– Melissa Marie Peoples, 21, of 622 S. 104th Ave., Shelby, was found guilty April 4 of allowing a person to drive in violation and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with sentence; credit for time served if imposed; and $290 in fines and costs.

– Isaac Robert Gill, 28, of 360 W. Main St., Walkerville, was found guilty April 4 of allowing a person to drive in violation and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with sentence; credit for time served if imposed; and $290 in fines and costs.

– Sean W. Johnson, 32, of 338 E. Garfield Rd., Twin Lake, was found guilty April 4 of DWLS and was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with sentence; credit for time served if imposed; and $400 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.

– David Lee McLain-Williams, 20, of 405 S. Elm St., Walkerville, was found guilty April 4 of driving while license not valid and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with sentence; credit for time served if imposed; and $300 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.
