HART — The following were sentenced recently in 78th District Court:

– Michael Alan Parsons, 30, of 4616 S. 132nd Ave., Hesperia, was found guilty Feb. 27 of non-sufficient fund (NSF) check $100 or less and was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with court orders; credit for time served if imposed; and $734 in fines, costs and restitution.

-Michael Keith Bishop, 31, of 5608 N. 136th Ave., Hart, pleaded “no contest” Jan. 30 to operating while intoxicated (OWI) and was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with court orders; credit for time served if imposed; outpatient treatment; $1,155 in fines and costs; six months probation; not to purchase or possess a firearm; subject to testing, searches and counseling required by probation officer; no alcohol/drugs; no contact with probationers or felons; and no assaultive behavior. Conviction reportable to the Secretary of State (SOS).

– Kriss Flores, 42, of 1599 W. Shelby Rd., Shelby, pleaded “no contest” Feb. 28 to assault and battery and was sentenced to nine days in jail with credit for three days served; 93 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with court orders; credit for time served if imposed; $400 in fines and costs; and no contact with the victim.

– Leiha Ann-Sue Artman, 26, of 10831 Parkwood Dr., Montague, was found guilty Feb. 28 of operating while intoxicated and was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with court orders; credit for time served if imposed; and $215 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS. One count of second-offense driving while license suspended (DWLS) and one count of operating with a high blood alcohol content (BAC) were dismissed.

– Samuel Robert Maclam, 27, of 2283 Austin, Muskegon, was found guilty Feb. 28 of domestic violence and was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with court orders; credit for time served if imposed; six months probation; $975 in fines and costs; not to purchase or possess a firearm; subject to testing, searches and counseling required by probation officer; no alcohol/drugs; no contact with probationers or felons; and no assaultive behavior.

– Jessica Nichole Tienda, 25, of PO Box 315, Shelby, pleaded “no contest” Feb. 27 to disturbing the peace and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with court orders; credit for time served if imposed; and $450 in fines and costs. One count of indecent exposure dismissed.

– Kelly Gene Eitniear, 47, of 373 Elm St., #1, Shelby, was found guilty Feb. 27 of operating while impaired and was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with court orders; credit for time served if imposed; outpatient treatment; and $1,055 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS. One count of operating while intoxicated dismissed.

– Jeremy Eugene Stopczynski, 32, of 400 W. Laketon St., Muskegon, pleaded “no contest” Feb. 28 to lying to a peace officer and was sentenced to one year discretionary jail to ensure compliance with court orders; credit for time served if imposed; and $450 in fines and costs. One count of larceny of money was dismissed.

– Bryan Lee Felber, 35, of 90 N. Sheridan, Muskegon, was found guilty Feb. 27 of operating while impaired and was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with court orders; credit for time served if imposed; outpatient treatment; and $1,055 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS. One count of operating while intoxicated was dismsised.

– Darin Colt Cunningham, 34, of 5703 E. Loop Rd., Hesperia, was found guilty Feb. 27 of DWLS and was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with court orders and credit for time served if imposed. Conviction reportable to SOS. One count of failure to stop at an injury accident dismissed.

– Douglas Albert Szost, 35, of 3320 Riley Thompson Rd., Twin Lake, was found guilty Feb. 27 of operating while intoxicated and was sentenced to nine days in jail; 93 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with court orders; credit for time served if imposed; outpatient treatment; six months probation; has 30 days to take name off vehicle title or immobilize; not to purchase or possess a firearm; subject to testing, searches and counseling required by probation officer; no alcohol/drugs; no contact with probationers or felons; and no assaultive behavior.

– Terry Donald Pearo, 24, of 1185 W. Winston Rd., Rothbury, was found guilty of domestic violence Feb. 27 and was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with court orders and credit for time served if imposed; and a $75 fine.

Dismissals

– Steven Girard Ordway, 55, of 143 E. 5th St., Shelby, one count of unlawful driving away of an automobile was dismissed Feb. 27 “without prejudice.”

– Monica Jean Fekken, 38, of 3190 W. M 20, New Era, one count of alcohol – selling/furnishing to a minor was dismissed Feb. 27 in a delayed sentence.
