Crashes pile up with winter weather’s return.

With the return of winter weather over the weekend, many vehicle crashes occurred, according to local police. Of the six crashes reported, there was one that involved injuries.
The following is recent police activity:
Thursday, Feb. 23, 2017:
– 3:15 p.m., (Hart Police Department), threats, 300 block of Johnson Street, City of Hart.
– 3:32 p.m., (HPD), suspicious situation, 300 block of North Griswold Street, City of Hart.
– 3:34 p.m., (HPD), disorderly conduct, 300 block of Johnson Street, City of Hart.
– 5:09 p.m., (HPD), one-vehicle crash, no injuries, no citations issued, 200 block of State Street, City of Hart.
Friday, Feb. 24, 2017:
– 7:50 p.m., (Michigan State Police), a 25-year-old Rothbury woman was arrested on a fugitive warrant and for operating without a license, Oceana Drive and Wilke Road, Grant Township.
– 8:11 p.m., (HPD), assist to Oceana County District Court Probation Office, 200 block of Dryden Street, City of Hart.
– 9:34 p.m., (MSP), a 24-year-old Hart man was arrested for domestic violence, 2000 block of West Jackson Road, Weare Township.
Saturday, Feb. 25, 2017:
– 9:18 a.m., (MSP), one-car crash, no injuries, Polk Road and 88th Avenue, Hart Township.
– 11:03 a.m., (HPD), warrant arrest, a 28-year old Hart man turned himself in on an outstanding warrant, Oceana County Sheriff’s Office, 216 Lincoln Street, City of Hart.
– 2:12 p.m., (HPD), noise complaint, 400 block of Johnson Street, City of Hart.
– 7:51 p.m., (HPD), suspicious situation, 100 block of Riverside Drive, City of Hart.
– 9:44 p.m., (HPD), traffic hazard, 200 block of East Main Street, City of Hart.
– 11:14 p.m., (MSP), one-vehicle crash causing injuries, Tyler Road and 104th Avenue, Hart Township. No further information immediately available.
Sunday, Feb. 26, 2017:
– 12:51 a.m., (MSP), one-vehicle crash, no injuries, Polk Road and 88th Avenue, Hart Township.
– 1:40 a.m., (MSP), one-vehicle crash, no injuries, Tyler Road and 72nd Avenue, Hart Township.
– 8:30 a.m., (HPD), threats, 400 block of Hart Street, City of Hart.
– 9:17 a.m., (HPD), unwanted person, 200 block of State Street, City of Hart.
– 3:37 p.m., (HPD), disturbance, 400 block of Hart Street, City of Hart.
– 8:53 a.m., (MSP), one-vehicle crash, no injuries, Hazel and Silver Lake roads, Golden Township.
– 9:39 pm., (MSP), a 25-year-old Ludington man was arrested for marijuana possession, US 31 and Winston Road, Grant Township.
