Over $2,000 stolen in break-in.

WEARE TOWNSHIP — Arrests are pending following a break-in involving the theft of over $2,000 cash that occurred at a migrant camp Friday, Oct. 14, on 88th Avenue north of Jackson Road, according to Oceana County Sheriff’s Office Det. Shane Hasty.

Suspects were developed Sunday, Oct. 16, and some of the stolen property was recovered, Hasty said. In addition to the cash, a computer tablet, a cell phone and clothing were stolen.

It is the second reported breaking and entering at the same location, the detective said. The investigation is ongoing.
