Ludington man injured in US-31 rollover crash

SHELBY TWP. — A 29-year-old Ludington man received moderate injuries in a rollover crash on northbound US-31, south of West Buchanan Road, Friday, June 12, at 4:25 p.m., according to an Oceana County Sheriff’s Office accident report.

The 1999 red Honda Passport that the man was driving hit the guardrail and overturned after a tire blew, according to the report. The man was wearing a seatbelt, and the Honda’s airbag deployed, the report states. No citations were issued.

There were no passengers in the Honda, and no other vehicles were involved in the crash, the report states. The vehicle had to be towed from the scene.
