78th District Court sentencings

HART – The following were sentenced recently in 78th District Court:

– Julie Ann Barnes, 33, of 277 N. State St., Shelby, was found guilty May 4 of second-offense operating under the influence of liquor (OUIL). She was sentenced to nine days in jail; one year discretionary jail to ensure compliance with court orders; credit for time served if imposed; six months probation; no alcohol/drugs; subject to counseling/searches/testing required by probation officer; not to purchase or possess a firearm; outpatient treatment; and $1,830 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to the Secretary of State (SOS). One count of third-offense OUIL was dismissed.

– Travis Allen Quist, 44, of 5494 N. 180th Ave., Walkerville, was found guilty June 10 of failure to license dog and sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with court orders; credit for time served if imposed; and $155 in fines and costs.

– Tresa Brianna Anderson, 23, of 17 S. Hart St., Hart, was found guilty June 8 of receiving and concealing stolen property. She was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with court orders; and credit for time served if imposed. Restitution left open for 90 days.

– Cody Daniel Leonard, 23, of 4104 N. 88th Ave., Hart, was found guilty May 18 of domestic violence. He was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with court orders; credit for time served if imposed; and $550 in fines and costs.

– Arnulfo Trevino, Jr., 35, of 515 Courtland St., Hart, was found guilty June 8 of assault and battery. He was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with court orders; six months probation; credit for time served if imposed; $925 in fines and costs; and no contact with the victim. One count of domestic violence was dismissed.

– Adam Randell Moore, 27, of 395 W. Main St., Walkerville, was found guilty June 8 of operating while impaired. He was sentenced to outpatient treatment; 93 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with court orders; credit for time served if imposed; and $1,555 in fines, costs and restitution. One count of operating while intoxicated was dismissed.

– Kody Fabian Lopez, 38, of 15 S. Courtland St., Hart, was found guilty June 8 of assault and battery. He was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with court orders; credit for time served if imposed; $450 in fines and costs; and no contact with victim. One count of domestic violence was dismissed.

– Ashley Dawn Stout, 24, of 910 N. Comstock, Hesperia, was found guilty June 8 of receiving and concealing stolen property less than $200. She was sentenced to $440 in fines and costs; one year discretionary jail to ensure compliance with court orders; and credit for time served if imposed.
