Police investigate a pair of break-ins

ELBRIDGE TWP. — A flat screen TV, a PlayStation® system with games, and other items were stolen during a breaking and entering in the 1000 block of East Tyler Road that was reported to the Hart post of the Michigan State Police Friday, April 3, at 10:47 p.m.

In a separate incident, an undisclosed amount of cash in the form of coins was taken from the Laundry Basket laundromat on State Street in Hart, according to Hart Police Chief Dan Leimback. The break-in was reported to the Hart Police Department Thursday, April 2, at 8:30 a.m. and occurred during business hours when culprits broke into a storage area.

– 11:30 p.m., (HPD), larceny, a wallet was returned to someone who had lost it in a parking lot, but the money was taken from it, 2000 block of N. Comfort Dr.
