Sheriff: plowing resumes at 5 a.m.

OCSO cruiserHART — Oceana County Sheriff Robert Farber stated that county road commission trucks will resume plowing at 5 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 15.

The sheriff’s office announced that all road commission plows have been pulled off the roads tonight due to the severe Valentine’s Day Storm, and motorists are urged to stay off the roads.

The Mason County Sheriff’s Office has also issued a similar warning

The storm that began on Friday the 13th has increased in intensity along the lakeshore, causing blinding snow, frigid temperatures, deadly windchills and hazardous driving conditions.
