SILVER LAKE — In less than a week since local food blogger and businesswoman Gina Ferwerda’s appearance on the popular Rachael Ray Show, her daughter Ariana and friend Alicia Kolenda will be on the show Wednesday, Jan. 28.

Gina Ferwerda’s video appeared on the show last Thursday, Jan. 22, when she prepared her “Defend the Den Burger.” Related story here

Ariana, a Michigan State University student, and Alicia, who owns Golden Sands Golf Course near Silver Lake with her husband Bill Kolenda, will present another one of Gina’s delicious “game-day” dishes as Super Bowl Sunday draws near. Their video shows the pair making Gina’s delicious “Game Day Leftover Egg Bake.”

The Kolenda kids: Izzabella, 3, Will, 13, Alivia, 8, and Drew, 10.

“We finish with, ‘It’s a great dish to serve a large family,’” said Alicia, who is a mother four children.

They end the video with Kolenda’s kids, Will, 13, Drew, 10, Alivia, 8, and Izzabella, 3, her husband Bill, and Gina’s husband Ted eating the tasty dish. Finding out they were going to be on the Rachael Ray Show is exciting news for all of them, especially Alicia’s youngest child, Izzabella, who turned 3 years old today.

The Rachael Ray Show airs on NBC Wednesday, Jan. 28, at 2 p.m.
