HART — The following were arraigned recently in front of the 78th District Court magistrate:

Felonies

Sanchez

–       Juan Sanchez, 18, of 324 E. Main St., Hart, was arrested Jan. 14 by the Oceana County Sheriff’s Office (OCSO) for felonies of breaking and entering a building with intent and malicious destruction of property $1,000-$20,000. A preliminary conference is set for Feb. 2 at 3 p.m. Bail: $5,000/cash/surety/10 percent cash. Related story here

Garcia

–       Korbin Garcia, 19, 418 S, Union St., Hart, was arrested Jan. 14 by the Oceana County Sheriff’s Office (OCSO) for felonies of breaking and entering a building with intent and malicious destruction of property $1,000-$20,000. Hawkins

–       Amber Lynn Hawkins, 27, of 1490 W. Baseline Rd., Shelby, was arrested Jan. 17 by OCSO for a felony of assaulting/resisting/obstructing a police officer and misdemeanors of operating with a high blood alcohol content (BAC) and possession of marijuana. A preliminary conference is set for Jan. 26 at 3 p.m. Bail: $25,000/10 percent.

Misdemeanors

–       William David Morrow, 26, of 955 W. Jefferson Rd., Pentwater, was arrested Jan. 1 by the Hart Police Department (HPD) for a misdemeanor of operating while intoxicated. A pretrial is set for Feb. 17 at 2:45 p.m. Bail: $3,500/cash/surety/10 percent cash.

–       Kimberly Lee Dean, 40, of 2417 Yale Rd., New Era, was arrested Jan. 9 by the Michigan State Police (MSP) for a misdemeanor of operating while intoxicated. A pretrial is set for Feb. 17 at 2:30 p.m. Bail: $3,500/cash/surety/10 percent cash.

–       Daniel Lee Grey, Jr., 47, of 2510 E. Johnson Rd., Shelby, was arrested Jan. 11 by OCSO for two misdemeanor counts of assault and battery. A pretrial is set for Feb. 3 at 2:30 p.m. Bail: $2,500/cash/surety/10 percent cash.

–       Tyler James Jeffery, 20, of 2120 W. Webster Rd., Montague, was arrested Jan. 1 by OCSO for misdemeanors of minor in possession of alcohol (MIP) possession of marijuana. A pretrial is set for Feb. 17 at 3 p.m. Bail: $1,500/cash/surety/10 percent cash.

–       Jerome Robert Jones, 23, of 14734 Sampo St., Kaleva, was arrested Jan. 11 by OCSO for a misdemeanor of driving while license not valid – improper license. A pretrial is set for Feb. 3 at 10 a.m. Bail: $1,500/personal.

 Sentencing

–       David Noel Wilkinson, 47, of 6561 N. Mohawk St., Pentwater, was found guilty in 78th District Court Jan. 20 of operating while impaired. He was sentenced to two days in jail with credit for two days served; $1,040 in fines and costs; Alcohol Highway Safety Education (AHSE); 93 days discretionary jail for one year; and must complete Victims’ Impact Panel. Conviction reportable to the Secretary of State. One count of operating while intoxicated was dismissed.
