Let it snow! 2nd Annual Shelby Winter Blast is Jan. 31

SHELBY — The Shelby Winter Blast is back this year and is set for Saturday, Jan. 31, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The winter celebration kicks off with a pancake breakfast hosted by the Shelby Rotary Club at the Shelby Congregational Church. Many fun winter events are on tap, including a quilt show at the village hall; activities for kids, teens and tweens at the library; a snow creation contest downtown; free horse-drawn carriage rides; snow activities; a chili cook-off; beer and wine tasting; and a basket raffle.
