78th District Court arraignments

HART – The following were arraigned Wednesday, Nov. 19, in front of the 78th District Court magistrate:

Felonies

Hamilton

–      Janet Mae Fawn Hamilton, 17, of 3259 Evanson Ave., Muskegon, was arrested Nov. 7 by the Oceana County Sheriff’s Office (OCSO) for a felony of assault by strangulation. A preliminary conference is set for Dec. 1 at 3 p.m. Bail: $5,000/cash/surety. The charge stems from an Oct. 27 incident in Greenwood Township, according to the police report.

–      Victor Cordero, 56, of 310 Pine St., Shelby, was arrested Oct. 19 by the Hart Police Department

for a felony of operating with a

high BAC (blood alcohol content) and a misdemeanor of DWLS (driving while license suspended). He has been notified of third-offense status for previous drunk driving convictions in 1996 and 2004. A preliminary conference is set for Dec. 1 at 3 p.m. Bail: $3,500/cash/surety/10 percent cash.

Misdemeanors

–      Seth James Gilde, 21, of 3788 E. Monroe Rd., White Cloud, was arrested Nov. 9 by OCSO for a misdemeanor of operating while intoxicated. A pretrial is set for Dec. 2 at 4:30 p.m. Bail: $3,500/cash/surety/10 percent cash.

–      John Joseph Norman, 17, of 2838 E. Garfield Rd., Hesperia, was arrested Oct. 19 by OCSO for a misdemeanor of minor in possession of alcohol (MIP). A pretrial is set forDec. 2 at 10:45 a.m. Bail: $1,500/personal.

–      Anita Maria Perez, 38, of 2517 W. Yale Rd., New Era, was arrested Nov. 7 by the Michigan State Police for a misdemeanor of DWLS. A pretrial is set for Dec. 17 at 11 a.m. Bail: $5,000/personal.
