HART – The following were sentenced this week in 78th District Court:

–       Gary William Treece, 26, of 7251 Standish Rd., Jackson, was found guilty Sept. 22 of operating while impaired. He was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail; $1,040 in fines and costs; and Alcohol Highway Safety Education (AHSE). Conviction reportable to the Secretary of State (SOS). One count of operating while intoxicated was dismissed.

–       Benjamin Fleming Payne, 36, of 5990 W. Pike Rd., New Era, was found guilty Sept. 23 of disorderly person – drunk. He was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail and $400 in fines and costs. One count of operating with a high blood alcohol content (BAC); one count of transporting open intoxicants; and one count of failure to display a valid license were dismissed.

–       Noah H. Soehnlen, 32, of 4330 S. Eber Rd., Monclova, Ohio, pleaded no contest Sept. 22 to disturbing the peace. He was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail and $400 in fines and costs.

–       James Leo Martin, 53, of 1063 S. Logan Lane, Hesperia, pleaded no contest Sept. 22 to disorderly person – jostling. He was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail and $400 in fines and costs.

–       Clinton Eli Ebenstein, 31, of 93 S. Elm St., Hesperia, pleaded no contest to domestic violence. He was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail; $925 in fines and costs; six months probation; no alcohol/drugs; and subject to counseling, testing and searches as required by probation office.

–       Dean William Kemp, 46, of 5275 Duck Lake Rd., Whitehall, was found guilty Sept. 22 of operating while intoxicated. He was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail; $1,155 in fines and costs; and AHSE. Conviction reportable to SOS. One count of transporting open intoxicants was dismissed.

–       Jacob Lee Swain, 23, of 2808 W. Ewing Rd., Twin Lake, was found guilty Sept. 22 of selling chemical agents – nitrous oxide. He was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail and $400 in fines and costs.

–       Cadenn Douglas Lorenz, 22, of 1130 E. Larch St., Muskegon, was found guilty June 17 of operating while impaired. He was sentenced Sept. 22 to 93 days discretionary jail and $1,090 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS. One count of operating with a high BAC was dismissed.

–       Leigh Anne Bailey, 31, of 5378 W. Park Rd., New Era, was found guilty Sept. 22 of driving while license suspended (DWLS). She was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail and $400 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.

–       Bonfilia Calderon Diaz, 40, of 164 N. State St., Shelby, was found guilty Sept. 22 of operating a motor vehicle without security. She was sentenced to one year discretionary jail and $200 in fines and costs.

–       Rhonda Lynn Rininger, 49, of 4159 W. Tyler Rd., Hart, was found guilty Sept. 22 of operating while intoxicated. She was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail; outpatient treatment; and $1,140 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.

–       Thomas James McKenna, 47, of 207 N. Harrison St., Ludington, was found guilty Sept. 22 of operating while intoxicated. He was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail; $1,140 in fines and costs; and outpatient treatment. Conviction reportable to SOS. One count of operating with a high BAC was dismissed.

–       Jordan Tyler Ward, 30, of 2563 N. Northland Dr., Rothbury, was found guilty Sept. 22 of operating while intoxicated. He was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail; outpatient treatment; and $1,155 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS. One count of operating with a high BAC was dismissed.
