78th District Court sentencings

HART – The following were sentenced this week in 78^th District Court:

–      Angela Sue Spencer, 33, of 79 Church St., Hesperia, was found guilty Sept. 17 of driving while license suspended (DWLS). She was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail and $400 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to the Secretary of State (SOS).

–      Ryan Lee Folkema, 21, of 8569 W. Thomas St., Shelby, was found guilty Sept. 17 of alcohol – selling/furnishing to a minor. He was sentenced to 60 days discretionary jail for one year and $500 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.

–      Jessica Lyne Bush, 28, of 2725 E. Forrest, Lot 16, Rothbury, was found guilty Sept. 17 of driving while license not valid. She was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail for one year and $225 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.

–      William Henry Brown, 23, of 4545 W. Anthony Rd., Ludington, was found guilty Sept. 17 of DWLS. He was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail for one year and $400 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.

–      Antonio Rocha, Jr., 19, of 6827 N. 126^th Ave., Apt. 5, Hart, was found guilty Sept. 17 of DWLS. He was sentenced to $225 in fines and costs and 90 days discretionary jail for one year. Conviction reportable to SOS.

–      Julio Alberto Estello, 39, of 104 S. Hart St., Hart, was found guilty Sept. 15 of operating while impaired. He was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail; Alcohol Highway Safety Education (AHSE); and $1,040 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS. One count of operating while intoxicated was dismissed.

–      Brandy Facundo, 19, of 615 S. State St., Hart, was found guilty Sept. 15 of operating while impaired. She was sentenced to AHSE; 93 days discretionary jail; and $1,040 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS. One count of operating while intoxicated was dismissed.

–      Sara Lyn Achterhoff, 19, of 1295 Whitehall Rd., Apt. 29, Whitehall, was found guilty Sept. 15 of operating under the influence of liquor (OUIL) – underage blood alcohol content (BAC) .02-.07. She was sentenced to AHSE and $450 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.

–      Arturo Guereca-Juarez, 20, of 354 N. State St., Shelby, was found guilty Sept. 15 of reckless driving. He was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail and $400 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS. One count of operating while intoxicated was dismissed.

–      Anthony David Vella, 27, of 2703 N. Morningstar Dr., Hart, was found guilty Sept. 15 of check – non-sufficient funds (NSF) $100 or less. He was sentenced to 28 days in jail with credit for 28 days served; 93 days discretionary jail; and $400 in fines and costs.

–      Greg Duane Ervay, 33, of 3680 N. 166^th Ave., Walkerville, was found guilty Sept. 15 of operating while impaired. He was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail; AHSE; and $1,055 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS. One count of operating while intoxicated was dismissed.
