Oceana Republicans kick off campaign

HART — The Oceana GOP begins its “Mobile Campaign HQ” Friday morning, Sept. 12, in downtown Hart and then travels every Friday morning around the county visiting what Oceana County Chair Bob Carr called “the local coffee clutches in our city and villages” up until election day.

“We have been doing this for a number of elections and find it works better than having a central campaign office,” Carr said. “By traveling around to the different “coffee clutches,” we reach many more people that we would not normally see coming into a central office. This continues our effort to outreach all corners of our county. We will have yard signs a plenty and other stuff to give away, and there is a good chance to see one or more of our candidates and state officials.”
