Hart man sent to prison; 2 sentenced on drug charges

HART — The following were sentenced Monday in 27th Circuit Court:

-Harold Leroy Hobby II, 34, of 216 Lincoln St., Hart, was found guilty May 5 of breaking and entering with intent. He was sentenced to one year and one day in a Michigan Department of Corrections prison with credit for 66 days served in jail; $1,558.99 restitution; and $198 in costs.

was found guilty Monday of controlled substance, possession of marijuana. Another count of controlled substance, possession of marijuana; one count of controlled substance, possession under 25 grams; one count of controlled substance, possession of schedule 5 LSD were dismissed. He was sentenced to 90 days in jail at the court’s discretion and $125 in fines and costs.

-Matthew Jacob Vandermeer, 21, of 6573 Maple Dr., Clarkston, Mich., was found guilty of controlled substance, possession of marijuana. One count of controlled substance, delivery/manufacture of marijuana; and one count of controlled substance, delivery/manufacture of methamphetamine/ecstasy were dismissed. He was sentenced to 90 days in jail at the court’s discretion and $125 in fines and costs.
