Company golf tourney Friday

SHELBY – Ron & Dave’s 21st Annual Company Golf Challenge, a four-person scramble, is set for this Friday, May 9, at 12:30 p.m. at Oceana Golf Club – weather permitting.
Teams will represent companies and work places. Non co-workers are also welcome. Entry fees are $28 per team and $22.50 per golfer, which includes a cart. Beer and soft drinks will be $1 each.
Prizes will be given out, and a traveling trophy will be awarded to the winning team. A cookout will follow the tournament. A separate skins game is also scheduled for $20 per team.

The golf course now has a liquor license, so golfers are not allowed to bring coolers. Special drink prices are offered for outings.
