27th Circuit Court sentencings

HART – The following were sentenced this week in 27th Circuit Court:

Steffes

Steffes

–       Michael William Dale Steffes, 25, of 5417 E. Deer Rd., Walkerville, was found guilty, March 21, of breaking and entering with intent. One count of receiving and concealing stolen property $1,000 to $20,000 was dismissed. He was sentenced, April 28, to one year in jail with credit for 61 days served; sentence to be served at the court’s discretion with eight months forthwith; two years probation; $2,439.80 in restitution; $400 in fines and costs; no alcohol/drugs; must submit to drug and alcohol tests; must complete treatment programs as directed by probation agent; may not engage in any assaultive behavior; may not associate with any known felons; and must seek and maintain legitimate employment. Restitution is joint and several with co-defendant.

–       Travis Wilson Page, 24, of 2014 Rockwood Dr., Bryan, Texas, was found guilty, April 28, of controlled substance, possession of marijuana. Two counts of delivery/manufacture of marijuana and one count of imitation manufacture distribution were dismissed. He was sentenced to six months in jail; sentence to be served at the court’s discretion and held for one year; and $750 in fines and costs. Driver’s license suspended 180 days.

–       Josef Lynn Gartner, 40, of 4075 Clay Rd., Rothbury, was found guilty, March 21, of assaulting/resisting a police officer and domestic violence/aggravated assault. He was sentenced to two concurrent terms of one year in jail with credit for 68 days served; sentences to be served at the court’s discretion; six months forthwith; and $507.60 in fines, costs and restitution.

–       Mitchell Sydney Fuller, 24, of 5312 S. Shore Dr., Whitehall, was found guilty, March 21, of receiving and concealing stolen property and habitual offender, second conviction. One count of breaking and entering with intent was dismissed. He was sentenced to one year in jail with credit for one day served; sentence to be served at the court’s discretion; eight months forthwith; 18 months probation; $2,439.80 in restitution; $400 in fines and costs; no alcohol/drugs; must submit to drug and alcohol tests; must complete treatment programs as directed by probation agent; may not engage in any assaultive behavior; and must seek and maintain legitimate employment. Restitution is joint and several with co-defendant.

Oomen

–       Kevin Robert Oomen, 33, of 2704 W. Lake Rd., Hart, was found guilty March 24 of unlawful use of a motor vehicle. He was sentenced April 21 to one year in jail; sentence to be served at the court’s discretion; serve three months forthwith; sentence to run consecutively to current sentence; and $198 in fines and costs.
