78th District Court sentencings, as of April 9, 2014

HART – The following were sentenced this week in 78th District Court:

–          Timothy Allen Adams, 28, of 7044 N. 92nd Ave., Hart, was found guilty April 7 of controlled substance, possession of marijuana, and sentenced to nine days in jail; $1,015 in fines and costs; six months probation; outpatient treatment; one year discretionary jail; driver’s license suspended one year, restricted 30 days; and no alcohol/drugs.

–          Ryan Phillip Baker, 29, of 4535 N. 68th St., Hart, was found guilty April 7 of operating while impaired and sentenced to $1,040 in fines and costs; Alcohol Highway Safety Education (AHSE); and 93 days discretionary jail, Conviction reportable to the Secretary of State (SOS). One count of allowing a person to drive in violation and one count of operating while intoxicated were dismissed.

–          Henry Clayton Leroy Williams, 36, of 7895 W. US-10, Branch, was found guilty April 7 of operating with a blood alcohol content and sentenced to 180 days discretionary jail; AHSE; and $1,255 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.

–          Eric Brian Lange, II, 30, of 2503 W. Timberline Dr., Rothbury, was found guilty April 7 of allowing a person to drive in violation and sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail and $400 in fines and costs.

–          Derrick Aaron Burris, 31, of 350 Wainwright Rd., Kent City, was found guilty April 7 of allowing a person to drive in violation and sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail and $475 in fines and costs.

–          Claudia Brandel, 42, of 1966 N. 94th Ave., Hart, was found guilty of operating while impaired and sentenced to outpatient treatment; 93 days discretionary jail; and $1,055 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS. One count of operating while intoxicated was dismissed.
