Guns, jewelry and booze stolen in 3 separate weekend break-ins

HART — Guns, jewelry and booze were stolen during three separate break-ins last weekend, according to the Oceana County Sheriff’s Office.

Intruders broke into a residence located in the 1300 block of West Arthur Road in Grant Township. “Several guns are missing, along with a few other minor items,” a sheriff’s department press release states. The break-in was reported Sunday, March 9.

A TV, several bottles of liquor, .22 ammunition and money in the form of change were stolen from a residence in the 1700 block of West Buchanan Road in Shelby Township. The crime was reported Friday, March 7.
Another break-in that was reported Friday, March 7, occurred in the 2000 block of West Buchanan Road in Shelby Township. Several pieces of jewelry were stolen, police said.

Police believe the two break-ins that occurred on West Buchannan Road may be related, but all three cases remain under investigation, the press release states.
